Common questions

How do I connect Apple Health or Health Connect?

During onboarding, ShiokFit asks for permission to read your steps and workouts. If you skipped it, go to the App's settings screen and tap "Connect Health Data". You can review or revoke access at any time in your iPhone's Health app (Sharing → Apps) or in Health Connect settings on Android.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google, not by us directly. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ShiokFit. On Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ShiokFit. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period.

How do I delete my data?

Your data never leaves your phone — ShiokFit has no accounts and no server-side record of you. Your profile, food logs, and synced health data are stored on your device only.

To erase everything, simply delete the App from your phone: on iPhone, touch and hold the ShiokFit icon → Remove AppDelete App. On Android, touch and hold the icon → Uninstall. That's it — nothing remains with us, because nothing was ever sent to us. Details in our Privacy Policy.

My workout didn't appear in the ledger

Check that the workout was saved to Apple Health or Health Connect by your watch or fitness app, and that ShiokFit has permission to read workouts (iPhone: Health app → Sharing → Apps → ShiokFit; Android: Health Connect settings → App permissions → ShiokFit).
